The Story

Merz B Schwanen was reborn in 2010 when acclaimed photographer and vintage clothing aficionado, Peter Plotnicki chanced upon the last factory in Europe still using ringspun knitting machines. Inspired by this discovery, Plotnicki and his wife Gitta revived the 100-year-old Merz B Schwanen brand, with an agreeably understated range of T-shirts, henleys and sweatshirts, all made in Germany.
